CAL POLY BANDFEST OVER SKY AND SEA Christopher J. Woodruff and Nicholas P. Waldron, conductors The Cal Poly Bands will take the audience on a sweeping journey of harmony and rhythm, drawing on the vibrant musical traditions of the British Isles, Austria, Bohemia and Spain. The program will include Richard Saucedo "Clouds," Clare Grundman's "Kentucky 1800," Gustav Holst's "Second Suite in F," and Jaromir Weinberger's "Polka and Fugue" from "Schwanda the Bagpiper." The powerful Pride of the Pacific Mustang Marching Band will salso take the stage, bringing the energy of the stadium to the concert hall with spirited selections from their fall performances in Spanos Stadium.
